VB / CDO Email Attachment Link

Sending VB CDO emails with attachments that have a custom file association. Opening the attachment automatically launches a VB program which opens and reads the attachment.

My question is that when sending the VB email is there a way to embed a link into the message body that will open the attachment without the user having to used the mail clients menu to open the attachment?
